Summit Summer Camp Guide 2013

Looking for a camp to send your child or teen this summer? Check out this guide to summer camps in Summit.

 

Are you searching for this year’s summer camp for your child or teen? Here’s a look at some of the programs offered in Summit.

Summit Area YMCA Camps: Camps are broken up by age groups and range from traditional summer camps to camps based on interests such as science, cooking, the arts and more. Ten separate week sessions are offered ranging from June 24 until August 30. An open house will be held on April 13 at Summit YMCA with further information. For more, click here.

The Connection for Women and Families Camps:  The connection offers full-day and half-day camps with a choice of eight one-week sessions. Camps include: Summer fun Camp, Fit & Fun Camp, Lights Camera Action, gymnastics, travel and more. Camps are offered for children ages 3 and up. For the full brochure, click here.

Summer at Oak Knoll: Oak Knoll offers an academic summer session for children in kindergarten and grades 4 to 12, a summer adventures camp for children 3-16 and a mini-camp for grades K through 8. For more information visit www.oakknoll.org/summer or call 908-522-8186.

Reeves-Reed Arboretum Elephant Tree Nature Camps: The Arboretum offers three different Elephant Tree camps based on age groups: Super Sprouts for 4 and 5 year olds, Nature Nuts for 5 and 6 year olds, Wilderness Wanderers for seven to nine year olds. To learn more, view their brochure here.

The Handwork Studio camp at Kent Place School: For crafty or stylish children that want to make one-of-a-kind creations. Both a handwork day camp (ages 5-12) and fashion(ages 10-15) and sewing camp are available. Sessions will be held, July 8th - 12th, 2013 and July 15th - 19th, 2013. Cornerstone School Summer Camp: The Cornerstone School offers camps for preschoolers and kindergarteners that include; cooking, city scapes, water play, crayons, backyard detectives, around the world and more.
