SUMMIT, NJ — Mayor Nora Radest and members of the Summit Fire Department led a swearing-in ceremony for firefighter Matt Carbone on Monday, according to a recent announcement.Carbone was appointed to the Volunteer Division of the Fire Department in 2020 and finished his Firefighter 1 and 2 training at the Middlesex County and Union County Fire Academies.Not only is Carbone a Summit resident, but he is also a graduate of Summit High School.The photo above features Carbone alongside Deputy Chief Paul Imbimbo, Mayor Radest and and Chief Eric Evers.<hr />Have a news tip?
