Summit's Roots Steakhouse Ranks Among Top 20 In State

NJ Monthly recently included Roots to its list of 20 steakhouses in New Jersey — located in the heart of Downtown Summit.

SUMMIT, NJ — For Summit locals looking for some quality, mouthwatering steak, they need not look further than their own backyard, according to NJ Monthly.

Roots Steakhouse made NJ Monthly's top 20 list of the best steakhouses in New Jersey in their recent April 2022 issue. Roots is situated in the heart of Downtown Summit and has additional locations in Morristown, Princeton and Ridgewood.

NJ Monthly wrote that Roots has a "warm" and "inviting" atmosphere, as well well as juicy steaks. The magazine highlighted the restaurant's hefty, flavorful Prime New York strip steak slathered in butter, as well as a dry-aged, "lushly marbled" cowboy steak that is priced the same as the wet-aged steak.
