The 35th Annual Tot Trot Scheduled for June 2

The Tot Trot is a day of games and family friendly activities to benefit children in out-of-home placement.


The following information was provided by the Summit Jr Fortnightly Club.

The Summit Junior Fortnightly Club has scheduled its 35th Tot Trot for Sunday, June 2, at Memorial Field. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., rain or shine. 

For the 35th consecutive year,  Lois Schneider Realtors will be the lead sponsor. 
The Tot Trot is a day of games, face painting, petting zoo, refreshments and family friendly activities including a non-competitive children’s Fun Run for ages two to seven and a new inaugural race, ( hosted by our 2013 provisional class ) for 8-10 years olds.  The registration fee is $15 through May 31. There will be limited $17 walk-in registrations on the day of the Tot Trot event.

Registration forms are available at local establishments, schools and supermarkets, at www.sjfclub.org or by self —addressed stamped envelope to Tot Trot, ℅ Michelle McKerns 129 Tulip St., Summit, NJ 07901.

On June 2, registration and pick-up for T-shirts, runners numbers and goodie bags begins at 11 a.m. The first race starts at 1 p.m.

This year’s beneficiary is Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Union County, Inc. is an independent, non-profit organization committed to advocating for the best interest of children in out-of-home placement.
