Two Summit Cars Stolen From Driveways Overnight

The stolen Volkswagen and BMW were unlocked with the key fobs left inside, Summit Police said Friday morning.

SUMMIT, NJ — Two cars were stolen overnight from Summit driveways, Police announced Friday morning.

The two cars, a 2022 Volkswagen Tiguan and a 2018 BMW 530i, were stolen between 11:10 p.m. and 1:15 a.m. Police said both cars were unlocked with the key fobs left inside.

The Volkswagen was stolen from a Clark Street driveway at around 11:10 p.m. Thursday, and the BMW was stolen from a Hickory Road driveway at approximately 1:15 a.m. Friday.
