Food Hall To Open In Bergen County With Giveaways
And expanding group of restaurants will open a food hall in Bergen County on Thursday.

HACKENSACK, NJ — The growing group of takeout and delivery restaurants known as Wonder will open a food hall in Hackensack on Thursday with giveaways.

Wonder — a restaurant group that started with gourmet food trucks in Union County during the pandemic — has transformed into a chain of takeout and delivery locations, often with seating inside. They incorporate various chefs on one site to create dishes from various restaurants and cuisines, so people can get diverse meals in one order.

Thursday's grand opening event will include a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 p.m. followed by live music and free food samples. Doors open at 5 p.m.
The spot will be Wonder’s 71st location overall and 22nd location in New Jersey, said a spokesperson.

The Hackensack location features restaurants including Bobby Flay Steak, Bellies (for kids), Walnut Lane by Jonathan Waxman (new American), Kin House (Chinese), Detroit Brick Pizza, and many more.
The restaurant noted, "Wonder features world-renowned chefs including Bobby Flay, José Andrés, and Marcus Samuelsson, alongside award-winning restaurants like Tejas Barbecue and Di Fara Pizza. Wonder differentiates itself from every other restaurant or food delivery concept by offering exceptionally high-quality food, and the unique feature of multi-restaurant ordering."
The first 100 customers on Thursday will get a special Wonder gift, the spokesperson said.
The store hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. each day.
Other Locations Coming
Another Wonder store in Fort Lee is set to open in December, a spokesperson said.
