Stretch of Goffle Road Closing for PSE&G Line Work
Closures to start next week and last through mid-November

Motorists will soon be impacted by utility work on Goffle Road.
PSE&G is scheduled to start working Monday to replace transmission lines along the roadway from Rock Road in Hawthorne to Wyckoff Avenue in the township.
The thoroughfare will be closed intermittently to allow crews to work, although Wyckoff police will be monitoring the closure to ensure one lane of traffic is available to motorists when work permits. The job is expected to last for more than two months, through Nov. 15.

Wyckoff residents who live in the closed section of Goffle Road and business patrons will have access via Goffle northbound or southbound, but not from both approaches. Access to businesses will be available, and vehicles traveling in either direction on Goffle will be directed to follow a posted detour route.
Wyckoff police warn that motorists traveling on Goffle Road should anticipate delays. Plan an alternate route, if possible, or allow for the extra travel time to follow the detour. Emergency vehicles shall have access to Goffle Road at all times.
