  1. Early Saturday morning, two teenagers were arrested in connection with a triple stabbing in Brooklyn that took the life of one man and left two others seriously injured. Officers who arrived on the scene in the East Williamsburg Industrial Park found two victims on the scene suffering from stab wounds; both were taken to Elmhurst Hospital, with one man pronounced dead and the second said to be in critical condition. Authorities report that a third man involved in the incident, who also suffered stab wounds, walked himself into Wyckoff Heights Medical Center; he was last reported to be in serious but stable condition. The two suspects, 19-year-old Joan Chicaiza and a 17-year-old whose identity has not been publicly released, face multiple charges in connection with the stabbing. (AMNY)
  2. Amazon is facing a lawsuit for failing to tell NYC customers about biometric technology monitoring in its Amazon Go convenience store. According to the lawsuit filed this past Thursday, the retail giant only recently informed customers of the monitoring — well after the passing of a 2021 disclosure law that mandated the disclosure. New York is currently the only U.S. city that requires businesses to post signs if they are tracking fingerprints, facial scans, and other biometric data. (News 12 Brooklyn)
  3. Cherry blossom season is upon us, and many New Yorkers are flocking to Brooklyn Botanic Garden's CherryWatch to monitor the blooms. The CherryWatch map (available on the garden's website) offers a quick visualization of whether a tree is in prebloom, first bloom, peak bloom, or post-peak bloom. As of Monday afternoon, one tree is in peak bloom, with two others in first bloom. (The New York Times)

You know how you on Instagram and get them fake little ads now, 'Yo Brooklyn Nets fans?' My, how the tables have turned!" (HipHopDX)
