Long Island Cardiovascular Joins North Shore LIJ

Long Island Cardiovascular Medical Associates in Deer Park and Babylon Village said late last week in a note to patients that it has joined the North Shore-LIJ Medical Group.

In the letter, the patients were told that they could experience billing changes during the conversion, and that signage and stationary would change to reflect the shift to North Shore-LIJ. Those changes will take place over the next few months.

The five doctors, Jerry A. Sokol, Guillermo A. San Roman, Abraham T. Schneider, Adam J. Kupersmith and Lance S. Lefkowitz, signed the letter, adding "As part of North Shore-LIJ Medical Group, most aspects of our practice will remain the same. For instance, there will be no change in our office locations, hospital affiliations or personnel. The physicians, allied professionals and office staff who care for you will remain the same."

Long Island Cardiovascular has offices at 1630 Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park and 200 West Main Street in Babylon Village.
