Cops: Seven Burglaries Reported Nearby
Nassau Police report Plainview, Bethpage, Hicksville, Levittown break-ins

Several towns near Syosset reported burglaries within one week, according to Nassau County Police.
Seven burglaries were reported in Levittown, Hicksville, Plainview, and Bethpage last week, cops said.
Nearby, a Plainview home on Barnum Avenue reported a burglary between 9:30 a.m. and 2:10 p.m. on Tuesday. Police said assorted jewelry was taken in the theft.
The Second Precinct reported the following incidents:
May 9: Burglary; Crescent Lane, Levittown; jewelry stolen.
May 12: Burglary; Briggs Street, Hicksville; attempted break-in, glass broken, nothing taken.
May 12: Burglary: Radio Shack, Levittown; front door glass broken, nothing taken.
May 12: Burglary; West Marie Street, Hicksville; steel door pried open, cash stolen.
May 14: Burglary; Barnum Avenue, Plainview; assorted jewelry stolen.
May 14: Burglary; Farm Ranch Road, Bethpage; iPad, assorted change stolen from garage.
May 15: Burglary; Laurie Boulevard, Bethpage; sheet rock cut, nothing taken.
