Crime Report: Car Incidents, Marijuana

A blotter of the latest arrests and incidents in Farmingdale.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department, Nassau County Police Department, and New York State Police Troop L.  It does not indicate a conviction

Arrests

  • Joseph Puskas, of Deer Park, was arrested in East Farmingdale on Nov. 29 and charged with criminal possession of marijuana and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle.
  • Harold Cunningham, of Farmingdale, was arrested in North Amityville and charged with criminal possession of marijuana.
  • Nicole Kontarakis, 22 of Farmingdale, was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Lakeshore Boulevard in Massapequa and charged with driving while intoxicated and two violations of vehicle and traffic law.

  • On Nov. 21, police reported that unknown suspect(s) stole the tires and rims on N. Cedar Street in North Massapequa from a 2010 gray Infinity.
  • On Nov. 27, two police officers
  • On Nov. 28, bicyclist Marvin Alfaro-Morales, of Farmingdale, . He was attempting to cross Route 110 at Del Drive at 6:30 a.m. when he was hit by a vehicle traveling south, police said, before he was struck by two more vehicles. Police said the drivers of the vehicles sustained no injuries and remained at the scene. Their cars were impounded for safety checks, but no arrests were made.
  • On Nov. 29, police reported a window was broken on a white Honda parked on Milbar Blvd. and New Highway in East Farmingdale.
