Fast Cars Take Over Main St.

Fast and Furious is coming to Farmingdale.

OK, maybe not illegal street racing starring Vin Diesel. But hundreds of muscle cars from all eras are expected to turn out in loud and proud fashion on Main Street Friday.

“Nights on Main” is a benefit for the Farmingdale Fire Department sponsored by High End Performance, Long Island Detailers, Hempstead Auto Collision and SNTRL.

Main Street will be closed from South Front to Prospect streets from 5-10 p.m.

The Fire Department expects up to 300 cars, from classic rides to the latest racers. Displaying your vehicle costs $5, which goes to the Fire Department. 

Gawking at the outdoor showroom is free.
