Farmingdale's inaugural St. Patrick's Day Parade was a smashing success.

Hundreds of people marched along the route down Main Street including firefighters, local community groups and public officials. The line-of-march assembled at North Side School Sunday and the parade kicked off at 1.

Hundreds more lined Main Street to watch to the big parade that is certain to become an annual tradition in town.
