Man Robs Bar In Bethpage After Grabbing Customer: Police
The robber grabbed a man who was patronizing the bar and stole cash near the woman who was bartending, police say.
BETHPAGE, NY — A man robbed a bar in Bethpage on Wednesday afternoon, threatening a customer to convince a bartender to give into his demands, Nassau police said.
Officers were called to Susan's Pub, at 8 Railroad Avenue, around 12:45 p.m., police said.
A man entered the bar and grabbed a 64-year-old male customer from behind, holding him while demanding cash from the 64-year-old woman who was bartending, police said. The robber then reached into a box on top of a bar and stole an unknown amount of U.S. currency, police said. The robber ran out of the bar, off into an unknown direction with the money, police said.

No injuries were reported, police said. Police are searching for the robber.
The robber was described as having an unknown race, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds with a medium build, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark gloves, black sunglasses / blue lenses, and a dark mask, police said.
