Plans Announced for Annual Columbus Day Fair
Organizers set event schedule, which runs Oct. 10-14.
Organizers have announced plans for the annual Farmingdale Columbus Day Village Fair, which runs Oct. 10-14.
The street fair's biggest days are Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12 and 13, running from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A parade is planned for Sunday at 5:30 p.m. on Main Street, followed by fireworks Sunday at 10 p.m. A host of other events are being planned for this village tradition.
Several bands are scheduled to play during the festival in the rear of the fire house. They are:
- Friday 9 p.m. "Any Way You Want It," a Journey cover band
- Saturday 7 p.m. "SuperBad"
- Sunday 6 p.m. "The Electric Dudes"
