Public Tickets Available For 2019 PGA Championship At Bethpage

FARMINGDALE, NY -- The PGA of America today launched remaining ticket inventory to the general public for Bethpage Black’s first-ever PGA Championship next year. The PGA Championship is coming to New York in just seven months, from May 13-19, 2019, and cans can purchase their tickets at www.pgachampionship.com.

Ticket prices start at $35 for practice rounds on either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of Championship week. A variety of ticket options are available, including a limited number of “Ultimate Wanamaker” packages providing guaranteed access to Ryder Cup tickets when the biggest event in golf comes to the Black Course at Bethpage in 2024.

“With ticket purchases from 49 states and across 22 different countries, the 2019 PGA Championship is poised to be one of the most prestigious sporting events in golf history,” said Scott Reid, 2019 PGA Championship Director. “The iconic Bethpage Black course has a rich tradition of hosting major championships, and its stature will only grow as it prepares to host the 2019 PGA Championship in May, and the Ryder Cup in 2024.”

This 101st PGA Championship will continue the PGA of America’s commitment to offering free Championship access to young fans 17 and under, as well as for America’s active and retired service men and women. Each ticketed adult can bring up to four juniors under the age of 17 onto the Championship Grounds for free each day, regardless of a sellout. Also, all US active duty, military retirees, active reserve, National Guard and their accompanying guest will be eligible to receive free Daily Grounds tickets by presenting their Military ID, regardless of a sellout.

• Daily Grounds Tickets for Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday – Practice rounds offer unique opportunities to collect autographs and watch the best players in the world prepare to compete. Practice Round tickets are $35 per person, per day.
• Daily Grounds Tickets for Thursday, Friday, Saturday or Sunday – Watch the Strongest Field in Golf compete for the coveted Wanamaker Trophy at Bethpage Black. Championship Round tickets are $110 per person, per day.
• Season Grounds Ticket Package – From the first practice round to the final putt, experience week-long access to the PGA Championship. Access to the Championship Grounds for all seven days will be $350 per package.
• Weekly Wanamaker Club Ticket Package – Elevate your PGA Championship experience with a premium ticket package and access to the on-course Wanamaker Club. Located just right of the 1st hole, the Wanamaker Club is a climate-controlled facility featuring televisions, an expansive patio, luxury restrooms and premium food and beverage options available for purchase. Each Weekly Wanamaker Club Ticket Package comes in the form of seven individual daily tickets, and will be $675 per package.
• “Ultimate Wanamaker” Ticket Package – Secure your place at the biggest golf event in New York history, the 2024 Ryder Cup. The “Ultimate Wanamaker” Ticket Package includes four weekly Wanamaker Club ticket packages for the 2019 PGA Championship and reserves access to the 2024 Ryder Cup when it comes to Bethpage State Park. $2,700 per package.
