South Farmingdale FD Outgoing Chief Honored For 'Exceptional Service'

SOUTH FARMINGDALE, NY — Michael Mackie, the outgoing chief of the South Farmingdale Fire Department, was honored by Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor Joseph Saladino for his "outstanding service and dedication to both the department and the community," according to the township.
Saladino expressed gratitude for Mackie’s leadership and commitment.
"Michael Mackie has demonstrated exceptional dedication and selflessness throughout his tenure as chief of the South Farmingdale Fire Department," Saladino said. "His unwavering service has made a lasting impact on the Daler community. Thank you for always answering the call of duty and for inspiring others through your years of service. God bless all first responders and the brave men and women in uniform who protect and serve."
