Two Street Festivals Planned for Downtown

The quiet beauty of Farmingdale's Village Green, its memorial garden, fountain and gazebo, will be filled with bustling activity as the village celebrates "Live Downtown" on July 14.

The Village's Downtown Master Plan panel is staging its first ever "Live Downtown events with a variety of music and activities. There are two dates, Sunday July 14 and Sunday Aug. 11. 

Much of downtown will be closed off for the event, which features local food , music and family-oriented events, the group announced this week.

The downtown festival runs from 4 – 7 p.m. both days.
