Man Shot In The Head And Killed In Harlem: Police

A man was shot and killed Monday night near the corner of West 140th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police said.

HARLEM, NY — A man was shot and killed in Harlem on Monday night, police said.

The 38-year-old man was shot in the head about 10 p.m. at 230 W. 140th St., near the corner of Frederick Douglass Boulevard, police said.

Medics rushed the man to Harlem Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

There are no arrests as of Tuesday morning and the investigation remains ongoing, NYPD added.

It is unclear what led to the shooting.
