Suspect Charged in Deadly 2020 Harlem Shooting
After a four year manhunt, cops arrested Darlin Martinez in July.

HARLEM, NY – After eluding authorities for more than four years, Darlin Martinez, 27, was indicted today.
Martinez faces one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder, among other charges, in connection with a fatal January 2020 shooting that killed Christopher Allen, a 27-year-old father of four.
Two other victims suffered gunshot wounds in the shooting, which happened in the middle of the afternoon outside 606 West 135th Street in Harlem.

Cops had been looking for Martinez since April of 2020, and finally caught up with him in July of 2024.
In a statement, DA Bragg thanked the NYPD, and particularly Detective Alexande Gil of the 30th Precinct Detective Squad.
