Giana is an amazing young woman. She has battled depression and anxiety. She has gone through a lot emotionally with her father being absent in and out of jail her entire life and being the oldest of five siblings in a single mother household. She hasn’t had it easy but despite it all she has accomplished a lot. She graduated Wilson Tech Dix Hills Police Academy and passed her state exam. Giana is now graduating high school and will move on to pursue her dreams to become a Suffolk county police officer. We are all so proud of her accomplishments!

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?
