Holiday Shopping: Fine Art & Crafts Fair Returns To Walt Whitman High School

The Huntington Station tradition is back Saturday with 100+ artists and makers — and free admission.

SOUTH HUNTINGTON, NY — More than 100 professional artists and craftspeople will fill the halls of Walt Whitman High School this Saturday, Nov. 22, for the school’s annual Fine Art and Crafts Fair.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the high school, located at 301 West Hills Road in Huntington Station. Admission is free.

Shoppers can browse a wide range of handmade work, including paintings, photography, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry, woodcrafts, florals, handbags, clothing, toys, dolls, and other unique gifts — a popular stop for early holiday shopping.

The fair has been held for more than two decades and has built a strong reputation among craft lovers across Long Island and the tri-state region. Some artists travel from out of state each year, including vendors from as far as New Hampshire.

Proceeds benefit the Art Development Fund, a nonprofit that supports arts programming at Walt Whitman High School as well as arts-related student scholarships.
