Huntington Police Blotter: Jeep Stolen From Driveway
ALSO: Two checks reported altered, police say.

The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- Aug. 23: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Dunford Street in Melville at 3:17 a.m. A 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen overnight from a driveway, police said.
- Aug. 18: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on Old Field Road at noon. Two checks were altered, police said.
