Huntington Police Blotter: Woman Stole Sunglasses, Drill, Men's Sweatpants
ALSO: Multiple thefts reported at Ulta Beauty; and vehicle parked at shopping center stolen, police say.
HUNTINGTON, NY — Curious about what's going on in your neighborhood? These are recent incidents reported in the Huntington area from Aug. 25 through Aug. 31.
The Suffolk County Police Department posted the following information. All charges are accusations and do not signify guilt.

- Aug. 27: Isabel Woodard, 25, of Amityville, stole a drill from The Home Depot in Huntington on Dec. 30, police said. Woodard stole approximately $1,300 worth of men's sweatpants from Dick's Sporting Goods on April 19, police said. She stole 13 pairs of sunglasses worth $2,400 from Macy's on Walt Whitman Road on May 9, police said. She stole designer sunglasses from Sunglass Hut on Walt Whitman Road on May 12 and May 13, totaling thousands of dollars, police said. She was arrested and charged with one count of third-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $3,000 and four counts of fourth-degree grand larceny: value of property more than $1,000, police said.
Incidents
- Aug. 30: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 2:08 p.m. Two men entered Ulta Beauty and stole merchandise valued at roughly $3,100, police said.
- Aug. 28: Grand larceny (third-degree) was reported on New York Avenue in Huntington Station at 8:30 p.m. A vehicle parked at Big H Shopping Center was stolen, police said.
- Aug. 26: Grand larceny (fourth-degree) was reported on Walt Whitman Road in South Huntington at 5:07 p.m. Someone stole 11 bottles of assorted perfume from Ulta Beauty, police said.
