Flanagan to Host 3 Town Hall Meetings

The state senator will provide updates on state issues and open the floor to hear his constituents.

In an effort to hear issues concerning the state from his constituents, State Sen. John Flanagan, R-East Northport, will hold three public town hall meetings through the rest of January and one in February.

Flanagan is set to address locals with updates on issues the state is facing, from the state budget to the state’s economic recovery his work with Gov. Andrew Cuomo to reduce taxes, and open up a question-and-answer session with attendees.

“This meeting gives me the chance to hear what is on the minds of the people I represent and to listen to their thoughts and concerns. They know the issues at hand and want to talk about them; I want to make sure that they have that opportunity,” Flanagan said in an email statement. “I hope residents will join me for this important discussion.”
