Two Arrested Following A String of Burglaries
The pair were involved in the theft of money and jewelry, according to Suffolk County Police.

After a string of home burglaries in the months of May and June, Suffolk County police have arrested John Anastasiou and Jacklyn Lynch in connection with the crimes.
Homes in Smithtown, Saint James, Nesconset and Setauket were broken into during this period. Money and jewelry were stolen from the properties.
Now, Anastasiou is being charged with nine counts of burglary in the second degree, and Lynch is being charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree.

Police believe Anastasiou was the one who broke into the homes, while Lynch sold the items at pawn shops.
Both were arraigned on June 30th at the First District Court in Central Islip.
