CHARLOTTE, NC — Second doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine will be made available to those who received their first dose though Mecklenburg County Public Health, the county announced.

The vaccine doses, which will be administered by StarMed Healthcare, may be obtained by appointment only for those eligible at vaccination clinics at Bojangles Coliseum in Charlotte.

"This partnership ensures that there are enough appointments available for individuals to receive their second COVID-19 vaccine dose and allows Public Health to continue to administer first doses of the vaccine as quickly and equitably as possible," said Public Health Director Gibbie Harris.
