Elton John's Farewell Tour Will Include Charlotte

The Rocket Man is visiting 100 cities — including Charlotte— as part of a globe-spanning goodbye tour.

CHARLOTTE, NC — If you've never seen Elton John live, you'll have one final opportunity to hear him perform in Cleveland this summer.

John will play Bank Of America Stadium in Charlotte on September 18.

The Rocket Man said this will be his farewell tour — aptly called the "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour, named for his 1973 album Goodbye Yellow Brick Road. The 74-year-old plans to hit more than 100 cities around the world, performing hits from his celebrated catalog along the way.
