Rapper Lil Baby To Give Away 1K Coats At Charlotte Event Thursday

CHARLOTTE, NC — Rapper Lil Baby is set to be in Charlotte Thursday to help distribute 1,000 winter coats during a pop-up giveaway for Charlotte area families in need.

The Feb. 11 "Warm Winter Wishes Charlotte" event is set to take place at the Arbor Glen Outreach Center, located at 1520 Clanton Road, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The event is a collaboration between Lil Baby, 4PF and the community center, and will comply with all Centers for Disease Control and Prevention coronavirus guidelines, organizers said.

"The pop-up coat giveaway will utilize a drive - thru or walk-up system to distribute free coats for families," organizers said. "All families must be pre-register to attend, we encourage families to use our drive-thru. One registration per household. Registrants, including children, must be present in order to receive coats."
