Here are the top three stories in Marietta today:
- According to the Ohio Department of Health, COVID-19 cases in Marietta and Washington County have dropped since Feb. 24. A recent report states that Washington County recorded 58 new cases per 100,000 in that period. The county ranks 26th highest for cases out of Ohio's counties. (Marietta Times)
- During Thursday’s meeting of the Washington County Board of Commissioners, the board discussed new county projects. One of the projects discussed was contracts with Veregy, an energy company. Another project discussed was the conversion of the county jailhouse into office space. (Marietta Times)
