Here are the top three stories today in Marietta:

1. Crystal Burke, a former Marietta Middle School basketball coach, was sentenced to 60 months in prison for nine counts of unlawful sexual conduct. Burke confessed to having sexual relations with several of her former players. Her five-year sentence was handed out Tuesday morning at Washington County Courthouse. (Marietta Times)
2. This past Saturday, the Washington County Public Library Marietta Branch held an art class on tile making. The Children's Department hosted the class featuring students drawing on two sides of a cube. The next art class in Marietta will be making pine cone bird feeders on Apr. 22 and 23. (Marietta Times)
