The Marietta City Council welcomes you here and thanks you for your time and concerns. Should you wish to address the council, this is the time set on the agenda for you to do so. When you are recognized, please step to the podium and state your name and address prior to addressing council. Your comments will be limited to three minutes. The council may not respond to your comments this evening, rather they may take your comments and suggestions under advisement and your questions may be directed to the appropriate staff person for follow-up. In the event of a violation of decorum, the council president will give one warning. Should a violation continue, the council president may revoke the speaking privileges, and the speaker may be subject to removal from the council chambers by the sergeant-at-arms.

• Resolution No. 103 (20-21) A Resolution to authorize the City of Marietta, Ohio to accept donations of a swing and a bench by ARC of Washington County, and to further authorize their placement in the City of Marietta, Ohio. (FARNSWORTH)

• Ordinance No. 260 (20-21) An Ordinance proposing cooperation with the Director of Transportation for the project consisting of pedestrian safety improvements at various intersections and midblock crossings, including curb ramps, rectangular rapid flashing beacons, signage, pavement markings, and signal timing, lying within the City of Marietta. • Ordinance No. 261 (20-21) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to enter into a purchase and lease contract on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, with Rush Truck Centers, of Cincinnati, Ohio for the purchase and or lease of a 2023 International HV607 4 x 2 dump truck for use by the Waste Water Department of the City of Marietta, Ohio, at a cost not to exceed $107,066.39. • Ordinance No. 262 (20-21) An Ordinance to amend Chapter 953, specifically Section 953.01 (f)(2), of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Marietta, Ohio, relating to the burial of indigent residents of the City of Marietta, Ohio. (SCALES)

• Ordinance No. 263 (20-21) An Ordinance to authorize and direct the Director of Public Safety and Service to temporarily suspend the operation of the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area as passed on April 29, 2021 pursuant to Resolution No. 91 (20-21) Section 3 Subparagraph 3(c) for Friday, September 10, 2021 and Saturday, September 11, 2021 and declaring an EMERGENCY. • Resolution No. 111 (20-21) A Resolution to adopt and approve the Public Housing Agency Plan for the City of Marietta, Ohio, and to authorize and direct the Mayor to certify said Plan to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Public and Indian Housing, on behalf of the City of Marietta, Ohio, and declaring an EMERGENCY.
