  1. Marietta College is hosting a free Lunar New Year/multicultural festival event today. The event, held at The Gathering Place on campus between 2-4 p.m., will feature food, activities, costumes, and even live performances representing multiple countries and cultures. The celebration is free and open to the public. (WTAP)
  2. During Thursday’s meeting, the Marietta City Council’s Lands, Buildings and Parks Committee discussed bids on work for new tennis and pickleball courts. The city had previously proposed a complete reconstruction of two tennis courts at Gold Star Park and adding four new pickleball courts at Indian Acres.
