  1. The Ohio University Singers and Marietta's People's Bank Theatre will be featured in a PBS special. The network's New Year's Eve special "United In Song 2022: Ringing in the New Year Together" features orchestra performances at small theater venues throughout the country. Some of the featured performers at the Marietta show included Rhonda Vincent, Natalie Grant, and other musical luminaries. (WOUB)
  2. A routine traffic stop ended in the arrest of a homeless woman. On Dec. 17, officers conducted a traffic stop in Marietta. Jessica Rankin, 45, was arrested at the scene for tampering with evidence, possession of controlled substances, and possession of a drug abuse instrument. Rankin is listed as homeless in official records. (Washington County Sheriff's Office - Marietta, Ohio)
  3. On Dec. 23, you can enjoy a holiday feast with a sensational view. The Twelve Days of Christmas Dinner Cruise, at Valley Gem Sternwheeler from 6:00-8:00 p.m., will offer guests a feast they won't soon forget. The event will feature 12 unique dishes to represent the 12 days of Christmas. It's a singular experience that will add a new taste to the holidays. Reservations are required. (Marietta OH)
