  1. Marietta College Men's Basketball will get another crack at besting their rival, the top-ranked Randolph-Macon on Friday. This match-up matters more, as they face off in the NCAA Final Four. The winner of that game will advance to the semifinals. (Subscription: Marietta Times)
  2. Neader's Cone and Shake is coming to Marietta. The ice cream parlor will be moving into the location previously used by The Third Street Deli. The owners hope to move to the location and open by early April. (Subscription: Marietta Times)
  3. The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley in Marietta has raised nearly $12,000 from the Jordan's Way fundraiser. Their goal is to reach $15,000 by the end of the week. The non-profit is also looking for volunteers to walk dogs. (WTAP)

  • Marietta School's Early Learning Center is partnering with Marietta First United Methodist Church and Kennesaw State University to host Conscious Discipline, an event designed for parents and caregivers seeking strategies and support for helping their children through difficult school challenges. Childcare will be provided for infants to Kindergarten-aged children. (Facebook)
  • Traffic in the 300 block of Muskingum Drive will be restricted to one lane beginning tomorrow. Sanitary sewer work is expected to be completed Friday afternoon. Temporary traffic lights will be in place. (Facebook)
  • This weekend is sure to be a fun one at the Historic Lafayette Hotel for the 29th Annual at the 29th River City Blues Festival. Starting Friday night and all day Saturday, enjoy live entertainment from seven different artists. Tickets range from $30-$85 for a weekend pass. (Facebook)
