Investigators apparently found incriminating text messages the couple shared about the teen and Stephanie Turner's desire for him. The texts were discovered when Nathan Turner's phone was seized during an investigation of a theft from the Sewickley Water Authority, where he formerly was employed.

The texts supposedly include an admission from Stephanie Turner to her husband that she exposed herself to the teen in the Turner home.
