PITTSBURGH, PA — A man was fatally shot and two people were stabbed in separate incidents in the city on Sunday.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety officials, police were called to the 2400 block of Webster Avenue in the Middle Hill for a ShotSpotter alert at around 6 p.m. They arrived to find a man in his 30s who had been shot multiple times down in the street.
Officers performed CPR and medics took the man to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police are searching for at least one suspect who fled on foot.
At around 10:30 p.m., police were called to the 1200 block of East Carson Street after two men were stabbed in the chest/torso area.

Medics transported one patient in critical condition and the other in stable condition.
A suspect has been arrested. Charges are forthcoming, police said.
