Easter Bunny to Hop Into Johnston

A free Easter egg hunt and bunny visit are scheduled for March 30, 2013.

 

Spring is officially here, which means it's almost time for the Easter Bunny to make his rounds!

On Saturday, March 30, children ages 5 and under are invited to meet the Easter Bunny from 9-11 a.m. at Johnston Memorial Park. At 11:30, children ages 6-8 can participate in a free Easter Egg Hunt (also at the Park), hosted by Johnston's Parks and Recreation Department.

Families are also welcome to visit Marian J. Mohr Memorial Library (1 Memorial Ave., Johnston) before or after the Easter events at Johnston Memorial Park (1583 Hartford Ave.) to decorate egg-shaped cookies, makes Easter crafts and participate in a scavenger hunt for paper eggs and Easter symbols. Crafts will run from 10 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. and cookie-making will take place from 10 a.m. and continue while supplies last.

At 11 a.m., the Easter Bunny will pay a visit to the children and families at Mohr Library.
