Johnston Man Caught Up In Opioid Conspiracy: US Attorney
Michael Slonski, 48, of Johnston, pleaded guilty on April 2, 2018, to a conspiracy charge, the U.S. Attorney's Office said.

JOHNSTON, RI — Michael Slonski, 48, of Johnston, pleaded guilty last month to a conspiracy charge, the U.S. Attorney's Office said. He was part of a drug scheme organized by Robert Rose, 52, of Providence. Rose pleaded guilty in Providence federal court, the U.S. Attorney's Office said Tuesday. He was accused of leading the conspiracy to sell Oxycodone.
Two other people have also pleaded guilty in connection to the conspiracy, and a fifth accused person is waiting for trial.
· David Rose, 59, of Providence, pleaded guilty on March 7 to possession with intent to distribute Oxycodone. His sentencing is set for Aug. 10.

· Victoria Rose-Coccia, 29, of Pawtucket, pleaded guilty on February 28 to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute Oxycodone. Her sentencing is set for June 22.
Tammy Bonham, 53, of Providence, faces a charge of conspiracy to acquire or obtain possession of a controlled substance by misrepresentation, fraud, forgery, or subterfuge; misbranding drugs.

Slonski pleaded guilty on April 2 to conspiracy to distribute and possess with the intent to distribute Oxycodone. He is scheduled to be sentenced on August 3, 2018.
Rose is scheduled to be sentenced on Oct. 5.
