  • We're about three weeks into the school year in Coventry, and despite some setbacks, the superintendent says things are getting back to a sense of normal.
  • Up to 200 rabies vaccinations will be available for pets in the East Bay this weekend, at Middletown's Department of Public Works.
  • While home sales are starting to slow in Rhode Island, there's no relief when it comes to prices. The median price for a single-family home is now nearly $400,000, up more than 17 percent from the same time last year.

Not even two months into his tenure, Bob Hicks it out as Bristol-Warren's interim superintendent. Hicks, who took the helm after the sudden departure of Dr. Jonathan Brice in July, abruptly resigned Wednesday.
