Going Up? Not The Newport City Hall Elevator
The City just announced the joint meeting between the city council and the school committee over the school budget has been cancelled.
NEWPORT, RI — The city has cancelled Wednesday's joint workshop between the school committee and the city council due to a broken elevator. According to a press release from the city manager's office, the loss of the elevator means the meeting is not accessible to the disabled. No new date has been set.
