Newport Fire: Grease Fire At Five Guys
Crews put out a grease fire in the kitchen at Five Guys on Connell Highway on Friday.
NEWPORT, RI — Five Guys restaurant is closed for the rest of the afternoon Friday after a grease fire in the kitchen. According to the fire marshal's office, no one was injured. The fire started around 1 p.m. and was quickly extinguished. The manager "did exactly what she was supposed to do," the fire official said. Five Guys is on Connell Highway near Stop & Shop.
