This year, about 50 restaurants throughout Newport and Bristol counties are participating. Each will offer lunch menus for $16 and dinner for $35, each served over three courses.
It's easy to be overwhelmed by the options, so Discover Newport keeps a website to probe menus, contemplate a local food tour, one of the food and wine events or perhaps The Chef's Table Dinner Series at Blithewold Mansion, Gardens and Arboretum in Bristol featuring Chef Matt Gennuso of Chez Pascal.

This year, there will once again be an emphasis on local seafood. Newport Restaurant Week has partnered with Rhode Island Seafood, a collaborative formed by the state Department of Environmental Management to support local fishermen and the local seafood market. Look for the RI Seafood seal to ensure your meal was landed in Rhode Island waters.
Discover Newport is inviting people to use the hashtags #NPTRestaurantWeek for Newport Restaurant Week related posts on social media. They'll be collecting the public's impressions of the City-by-the-Sea with the #LoveYourNewport hashtag.
