Teen Stabbing: Woonsocket Police Arrest Suspect
A 17-year-old is in custody for stabbing a 14-year-old Friday night. The victim was treated at a hospital and released.

WOONSOCKET, RI — Woonsocket police arrested a 17-year-old juvenile who allegedly stabbed a 14-year-old. Both teens are Woonsocket residents. The incident happened Friday night on East School Street.
The victim, who was stabbed in the back and chest, went to Hasbro Children's Hospital. Police described his injuries as not life-threatening. He was charged with disorderly conduct for starting the fight.
The 17-year-old was charged with Assault with a dangerous weapon; and Possession of a knife in excess of three inches.

Police identified and located the 17 y.o. male suspect; also a Woon resident. He is charged with Assault w/ Dang. Weapon and Possession of knife in excess of 3”. Following medical treatment, the victim was charged with disorderly conduct for starting the altercation.

On Friday evening officers responded to Rathbun and https://t.co/MkqAFmF8lU St for reported stabbing. A 14 y.o. woon. resident sustained two non-life threatening stab wounds to back and chest during an altercation with other juveniles. The victim was transported to Hasbro.
