WOONSOCKET, RI—The 19-year-old Woonsocket man arrested in January for possessing a stolen iPad is likely still kicking himself for how he got caught.

Selfies he took with the device, stolen from a pickup truck outside a house in Wrentham, MA, appeared in the victim's iCloud account.

Those pictures, plus the "find my IPad" app, led Woonsocket police to the door of Ralphy Olivero, who said that he bought it from someone at school for $50. He eventually pleaded no contest to a charge of possession of stolen goods and was sentenced to a year of probation, court records show.

Now, Olivero is facing new charges of larceny, filed by Wrentham police this week in Wrentham District Court. And the new charges come with the revelation that the victim is none other than Patriots Kicker Stephen Gostkowski.
