Plus: Rents in Rhode Island are spiking, and a former University of Rhode Island wide receiver just landed on a new team in the NFL.

2. NBC News reports on the touching story of how a Rhode Island mother and father are keeping the memory of their late daughter alive after receiving a symbolic visit from a butterfly. (NBC News)
3. The Associated Press reports Tropical Storm Henri socked Rhode Island on Sunday, leaving more than 140,000 homes and businesses without power. Flooding closed bridges and washed out roads, leaving some stranded in vehicles. (The Associated Press)
4. BearsWire reports the Chicago Bears signed 23-year-old wide receiver Isaiah Coulter of the University of Rhode Island. Coulter, who stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, was a fifth round draft pick of the Houston Texans last year.
