  3. The Associated Press reports Tropical Storm Henri socked Rhode Island on Sunday, leaving more than 140,000 homes and businesses without power. Flooding closed bridges and washed out roads, leaving some stranded in vehicles. (The Associated Press)
  4. BearsWire reports the Chicago Bears signed 23-year-old wide receiver Isaiah Coulter of the University of Rhode Island. Coulter, who stands 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighs about 200 pounds, was a fifth round draft pick of the Houston Texans last year.
