Volunteers Needed To Help Sort PPE Donations
Austin Public Health and Dell Medical School need volunteers in April to sort and pack PPE donations for distribution to medical community.

I've been a contributor for Patch since 2017, and cover trending events in Austin and surrounding areas. I received a BA in English from UT San Antonio, and have written professionally in both the private and non-profit sectors for over ten years. I became a freelancer so that I could stay home and raise my children, and immerse myself in creative writing. Aside from being a full-time mom to my sons and freelancing for Patch, I stay active practicing yoga and pilates, running daily, as well as hiking and exploring nature with my husband and kiddos. Thanks for reading Patch, and please feel free to reach out if you have any interesting events happening in and around Austin you'd like us to feature.
