The holiday season is about more than lights and celebrations — it’s also a meaningful time to give back and make a difference right here at home. We’ve rounded up a few organizations in and around Milwaukee that could use a helping hand this season. This isn’t an all-inclusive list, but a starting point — be sure to contact each group directly to learn about their current needs, requirements and how you can best support their efforts.

Community Projects for Seniors

Community Projects for Seniors brightens the lives of low-income older adults living in subsidized housing by reducing isolation and creating meaningful connections year-round. Volunteers play an essential role in everything from preparing and delivering holiday meals to hosting small social gatherings in senior apartment buildings, helping with care package deliveries or supporting nature outings.
