WI School Districts Make Decisions On Mask Policies: List
Here are the school districts that will require masks, will recommend them and will consider mask rules in the future.
WISCONSIN — The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction recommends that all students 2 and up and all staff wear face masks at school regardless of vaccination status.
However, the department doesn't mandate that schools require masks for the upcoming school year. This means that individual school districts have to decide whether or not to mandate students, staff or both to wear masks while in school buildings.
Most school districts will hold their first day of classes on Sept. 1 and most schools will have in-person classes. Some districts have released mask policies that are concrete while others depend on the scale of coronavirus infection during the school year.
