Alleged Drunk Driver Arrested After Serious Head-On Crash
The 25-year-old Malden man is facing a several charges.
MALDEN, MA - A local man was arrested after a head-on, rollover crash shortly before 10:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 8, on Lynn Street.
William Clarke, 25 of Malden, was arrested for: Unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, operating under the influence of liquor causing serious bodily injury, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle, according to police.
Local and state police investigated the crash. One of the vehicles rolled over, struck the fence along the cemetery, and came to rest on its roof.

Victims were transported to the hospital with serious injuries, according to Malden Police. Both vehicles sustained serious damages.
Clarke was arraigned at Malden District Court.

In other police news, a 24-year-old was arraigned in connection with the Dec. 27 fatal hit and run.
These are allegations. All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
